Central Texs Water Supply Corporation has Pump #2 failure at the Doc Curb Water Treatment plant. Pump #1 is still being repaired.
Reduce and maintain daily water demand at or below 25% of system or isolated area's capacity. Begin additional water reductions to wholesale customers and implement water rate surcharges for excessive use of water. Notify TCEQ.
We are looking at all options for repairs. Estimated time for repair is one week.

Central Texas Water Supply Corporation is initiating Stage 2 Drought Warning Moderate to Severe Conditions - Water Rationing due to severe drought conditions and low lake levels. Begin water reductions to customers, require wholesale customers to implement alterative water supply sources and consideration of limiting nonessential water usage. Reduce and maintain daily water demand at or below 90 percent of system capacity. Customers are asked to restrict/ration water usage.
Stage 2 may be rescinded when conditions improve.

Central Texas Water Supply Corporation has been working on Pump #2 at System Split. Pump #2 has been rebuilt, parts were not available and have been on order for several weeks. The motor will be delivered and installed on Friday, June 30.
Reduce and maintain daily water demand at or below 80% of system or isolated area’s capacity. Begin additional water reductions to wholesale customers and implement water rate surcharges for excessive use of water. Notify TCEQ.
It may take 10 days to one month for the system to catch up with water demand.
The customers of the Corporation AFFECTED are:
B-M-F, Bell County WCID #5, Little Elm, Salem-Elm Ridge WSC,
Town of Buckholts, East Bell WSC,
City of Lott, O & B, City of Rogers, Rosebud Lott ISD,
City of Rosebud, Westphalia WSC
